Business Listings

How do I add my business to Grubido.com?

Click the Submit drop down and select “Add your Business”. Complete the form with your business name, location, description, category, and contact info. Our team will review your submission within 2–3 business days.

Is there a cost to list my business?

Basic listings are free! For additional exposure, premium listing options are available for a small fee.

What types of businesses can be listed?

We focus on businesses in the food, beverage, and hospitality especially those tied to the African Diaspora.

Can I update my business listing after it’s live?

Yes. Once approved, you can email us with any updates, including edits to your information or new images, and we’ll make the changes for you.

How long does it take for my listing to appear on the site?

Listings are reviewed and typically published within 2–3 business days.

Can I list more than one business?

Absolutely. Each business must be submitted separately through its own form.

What if my business doesn’t fit your listed categories?

Select “Other” in the category dropdown, and briefly explain your business. If it aligns with our mission, we’ll make space for it!

Will my business be promoted on social media?

Premium and featured listings receive guaranteed social media promotion. All listings are considered for features on a rotating basis.

Event Listings

How do I submit an event to Grubido.com?

Head to the Submit Page and select Add Event Listing and fill out your event name, date/time, location, flyer, and ticket link (if any).

Is there a fee to list an event?

Event listings are free! Featured placements or promotions come with additional options for exposure.

What types of events do you accept?

We accept cultural and community-based events: tastings, food festivals, chef showcases, pop-ups, workshops, culinary panels, etc.

How far in advance should I submit my event?

We recommend submitting at least 2 weeks in advance for maximum exposure.

Can I update or change an event I submitted?

Yes. After approval, just email with edit event details.

Can I upload flyers or images with my event?

Yes, you can upload up to 1 flyer and 3 supporting images with each submission.

Will Grubido promote my event?

All events go live on the public calendar. Featured or paid listings may receive homepage placement, email spotlight, and social media mentions.

Can I list recurring events?

Yes! Indicate if your event repeats weekly/monthly and provide the schedule. We’ll format it accordingly.

What happens after I submit a listing?

Our team reviews submissions for quality, accuracy, and alignment with our community values. You’ll be notified by email when your listing goes live.

What if I need help submitting?

Can I remove my listing?

Yes. To remove your listing, please email us at support@grubido.com with your business or event name, and we’ll take care of it within 1–2 business days.
